Dentons chosen to support Guangzhou Nansha District's Qingsheng Hub Block's mixed-use development project

Recently, Dentons Guangzhou office submitted a joint tender with Guangdong International Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd. and successfully won the bid for providing consulting, tendering and program design services for the mixed-use development project of Guangzhou Nansha District's Qingsheng Hub Block (the "Block").

The Block is situated at the intersection of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Railway and Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, and is a hub connecting the east and the west bank of the Pearl River. It covers an area of approximately 8 square kilometers and the total investment of the project is around RMB28.936 billion. The Block is set to become a transportation hub in the northern part of the Nansha District, and travelling from here to the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, the Pearl River Delta, Shenzhen and Hong Kong will be extremely convenient. Thus, it will have strong attractions for enterprises and talents, and will be a key area for hosting technological companies. The project is divided into two parts: one will be carried out by EPC model, the other by PPP model. It includes nine segments, namely, demolition and relocation, pipeline relocation, site leveling, municipal road construction, bridge construction, underground pipe gallery construction, water and landscape, sponge city and smart city, and public supporting facilities construction.

The Dentons Guangzhou team consists of Qinghua Lu, Yayuan Liu, Peijie Qiu, Hao Chen, Zhiping He and Mengwen Xu. They will provide legal advices for the project owner Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone Industrial Park Development Office during value for money assessment, financial sustainability review, implementation plan and project contracts preparation, tendering and every other project stages.
