Dentons appointed on mixed-use development project for Guangzhou Nansha District Advanced Manufacturing Park Development and Management Co., Ltd.

Recently, Dentons Guangzhou office successfully won the bid for providing legal services for the Guangzhou Nansha District Advanced Manufacturing Park's mixed-use development project (the "Project") for a period of up to 3 years.

The Project is located at the area of Xinlian Weidao, Dagang Town of Nansha District, and covers an area of 8.21 square kilometers. The total investment of the project is around RMB10.464 billion. The project is divided into two parts: one will be carried out by EPC model, the other by PPP model. It involves land leveling and construction of municipal roads, bridges, underground pipe gallery, dam bridges, drainage stations, landscape, tributaries remediation, sewage treatment plants, garbage disposal stations, bus stops, schools, hospitals and sports facilities. The park will focus on developing advanced manufacturers, high-end equipment manufacturers, and ship and marine engineering equipment manufacturers. In the future, the park will bring in domestic and foreign managers with industrial park development and operation experiences, establish group headquarters, regional headquarters or functional headquarters, and introduce advanced equipment manufacturers, high-tech R&D companies, and financial institutions, etc., aiming at becoming an important engine for the economic development in the western part of the Nansha District.
