The Seminar of "Development and Trend of the IPR Business Driven by New Quality Productivity" and the 2023 Annual Conference of the IPR Commission Successfully Held

On November 10, 2023, the Seminar of "Development and Trend of the IPR Business Driven by New Quality Productivity" jointly held by Dacheng IPR Committee and the IPR Group of Dacheng Beijing Office, and the 2023 Annual Conference of the IPR Commission was successfully held at Dacheng Beijing Office, which carried forward the past and opened up new ground for future innovations. On the Symposium, well-known experts and Dacheng lawyers had in-depth discussion and communication with colleagues on the theme of "Development and Trend of Intellectual Property Business Driven by New Quality and Productive Forces".

As the first guest speaker of this Seminar, Mr. Cheng Yongshun, former Vice Chief Judge of the IPR Division of Beijing Higher People's Court, gave detailed explanations on several widely debated issues in the field of trade secret protection, such as the characteristics of trade secret cases, the nature of trade secret and the objects of trade secret protection.

Mr. Li Sheng, Vice Dean of the Law School of Ocean University of China, introduced the governance logic of generative artificial intelligence, the factors to be considered and the changing process of generative artificial intelligence, which is of great reference value to lawyers in the future.

Mr. Wang Zhangwei, Director of the Sixth Business Department of Dacheng Beijing Firm, introduced the current progress of the reform of specialization of the firm, introduced the change of the intellectual property group to the intellectual property and technology innovation group, and expressed that the change of the group will bring more new opportunities for lawyers. Mr. Sun Dayong, a director of Dacheng Intellectual Property Committee, introduced to his colleagues the eight most notable issues with respect to patent compliance of technology companies starting from the following eight aspects: patent authorship, patent promotion, technical investigation, information disclosure, IP classification, improper generalization, package patent and looking down on filing. The article provides a valuable reference for the practice of patent practice.
