Dacheng Advises CICC on Underwriting PPNs for Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd.

On October 9, 2013, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (“海油工程", Code No.:600583) completed registration and depository procedures at China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (“CSDC”) Shanghai Branch for its private placement notes (PPNs) issuance. The oil engineering company issued 531,914,800 ordinary shares (A-shares) at an offering price of RMB6.58 per share, raising RMB3,499,999,384 in total.
 
China International Capital Corporation Limited (“CICC”) acted as sponsor and lead underwriter for the PPNs, while Dacheng acted as advisor for CICC. Dacheng senior partner Guo Qing and partner Li Jie worked jointly to provide all-round legal service for CICC on the sponsorship and underwriting.
