Introduction

Shoushuang (David) Li is a Senior Partner at Beijing Dacheng Law Offices and serves as a director of the China board and the head of the China Securities Internal Review Committee.

David has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, specializing in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, public offering and listing and related dispute resolution. He has completed multiple landmark projects with significant market impact and has been involved in wide-ranging types of transactions in various countries and capital markets, gaining extensive experience in these fields. Specifically, he has successfully assisted over thirty Chinese companies with their IPOs or restructurings on the A-shares market in China, stock exchanges in Hong Kong and the United States; served as the legal advisor for the establishment of nearly fifty prominent private equity funds; represented both domestic and international investors in over a hundred large-scale private equity financing and M&A projects; and engaged in various types of bond issuance, financial product design such as trusts and asset management. In recent years, David has been serving as an arbitrator for major domestic arbitration institutions, adjudicating or representing in several investment and financing-related dispute resolution cases. Additionally, he is dedicated to securities compliance practices, representing clients in cases involving false statements, insider trading, market manipulation and handling of other non-compliance.

David was recognized as one of the first "Top 10 Outstanding Youth Lawyers of Beijing""Beijing Outstanding Lawyer of the Year"by the Beijing Lawyers Association and was selected for the"National Talented Lawyers Pool Specialized in Foreign-Related Matters". In 2013, David was named one of the "Top 15 Rising Lawyers in China" by Asia Legal Business (ALB) and has consistently been featured in Chambers and Partners, ALB, Legalband, International Financial Law Review (IFLR), Business Law, and Legal 500 in their lists of recommended lawyers.

David is actively involved in social activities and holds several prominent positions, including the Vice Chairman of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce's Urban Infrastructure Chamber, Chairman of the Beijing Jinshi Charity Foundation, Special Supervisor for the Beijing Financial Court, Member of the Bond Review Committee of the China (Macau) Financial Assets Exchange, Independent Director of Yellow River Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Independent Director of Longi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (601012.SH) for the third and fourth terms, Independent Director of Wo Ai Wo Jia (000560) for the eighth term, Member of the Legislative and Self-Regulatory Committee and Mediation Committee of the Asset Management Association of China, Member of the Legal Committee and Equity Investment Committee of the China Insurance Asset Management Association, Arbitrator for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court, Adjunct Supervisor at Peking University Law School and Renmin University of China Law School, Editor of the UK magazine "The Company Lawyer," and Columnist for Caixin. Additionally, David has frequently participated in significant national legislative reviews and has delivered specialized reports to regulatory bodies such as the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
