Dentons successfully won the bid to act as the standing legal counsel for Aero Engine Corporation of China Finance Corp

Recently, a team led by senior partner Wu Libei (Beijing) successfully won the bid to become the standing legal counsel of Aero Engine Corporation of China Finance Corp (AECCFC).

In December 2018, Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) is approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission to establish its wholly-owned subsidiary, AECCFC, a non-bank financial institution. Jointly funded by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State-owned Capital Operation and Management Center of Beijing, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China and the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, AECC is a military enterprise directly managed by the central government and has 27 affiliated enterprises and institutions, including 3 main board-listed companies. AECCFC is not only a professional platform established by AECC to optimize resource allocation, save financing costs, prevent and control capital risks, and realize the combination of industry and finance, but also an important strategic initiative for AECC to promote the development of the aero engine industry, which will benefit the in-depth development of the Group's combination of industry and finance, the enhancement of the comprehensive competitiveness of the aero engine industry and the implementation of the Group's mission.

In this bidding, the Dentons team stood out from many well-known law firms by virtue of their high professionalism and rich sector experience, and successfully won the bid.

The bidding team also included associates Chen Hongjun and Liu Lijing, and paralegals Lu Fang and Li Yang. Currently, Mr. Wu and his team are acting as the standing legal counsel for China South Industries Group Corporation Finance Corp. and providing legal advisory services for CHINALCO Finance Co., Ltd.
