Urumqi-based Attorneys Advise TBEA Sunoasis Co.,Ltd. on Offshore Business

From late July to early August, 2013, with the concerted effort of a project team led by attorney Ma Yan from Dacheng Urumqi Office’s foreign-related affairs practice, Dacheng successfully entered into a service contract with TBEA Sunoasis Co., Ltd. (“TBEA Sunoasis”), who had retained Dacheng as the company’s outside general counsel.
 
TBEA Sunoasis is one of China’s largest high-tech enterprises specializing in new energy development and utilization. As the company’s business grows in Europe, the United States, Australia and Southeast Asia, the demand for foreign-related legal service also rises. Accordingly, the service provider should not only be capable of using foreign languages such as English, but should also have extensive experience in advising on high-profile foreign-related projects. The team led by attorney Ma Yan won out over multiple competing firms because of their detailed foreign-related legal service plan and rich experience in advising foreign-related projects.
 
Up until now, the project team has advised TBEA Sunoasis on a wide range of projects, including an energy development project with a French investment company, a project on supplying new energy production facilities to an Italian energy enterprise, a project on new energy power plant construction with an American company and an EPC-based new energy development project with a Pakistani company. The efficiency and rigor of the project team was commended by TBEA Sunoasis.
