Recently, the award dinner banquet of Asian Legal Business (ALB), a prestigious international legal media, was held in Shenzhen. During the event, the winners of the ALB China Regional Law Awards 2024: South China & Central China were announced. China Construction Bank's Issuance of USD 1 billion Green Bond and CNH 2 billion Blue Bond

Project Overview

In this project, China Construction Bank successfully issued two major bond offerings: USD 1 billion in 3-year green floating-rate bonds through its Hong Kong branch and CHN 2 billion in 3-year blue fixed-rate bonds through its London branch. Notably, the CHN bonds mark the bank's first issuance of blue bonds.

A lawyer team led by Zhou Liang from Dacheng Law Offices acted as the legal consultant for the underwriters on Chinese law matters.
