Partner Doug Stipanicev re-appointed as Australia Chair and Australasia Region CEO

Perth—The partners of Dentons in Australasia have re-appointed Doug Stipanicev, to the role of Chair in Australia and Australasia Region CEO for a further two years from January 2021.

Doug Stipanicev has been a leader in the Firm for many years, first as head of office in Perth, and also serving as a member of the board for the past seven years.

Dentons’ Chief Operating Officer, Maureen Migliazzo said Mr. Stipanicev has made a significant contribution to the success of the Firm as Chair over the past two years.

“Since becoming the Australia Chair Doug has led the Firm from strength to strength, implementing a new strategic vision, and leading the combinations with Dentons Fisher Jeffries in Adelaide and Dentons Kensington Swan in New Zealand to continue to grow and strengthen the Firm’s presence in Australasia.

“Doug has also steered Dentons through the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, championing a culture of care and transparency with employees, focusing on our clients and ensuring the Firm remains in a financially strong position.
