On November 22, 2024, the "Digital Intelligence Development Shines in Dongguan, Foreign-related Rule of Law Starts a New Journey—Dacheng Forum on High-quality Legal Development" & Dacheng Dongguan Office Opening Ceremony was successfully held at InterContinental Dongguan. The event was co-hosted by Dacheng Law Offices and the Dongguan Lawyers Association. As a grand occasion in Dongguan's legal community, the event delved into innovative development paths for the legal industry in the digital intelligence era and methods to tackle new challenges in foreign-related legal affairs, contributing wisdom and strength to the rule of law and economic development. The event featured esteemed speakers, including Professor Chen Xiaojun, Doctoral Supervisor at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Distinguished Chief Expert at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, along with Professor Zhang Liang, Dean and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Law and Director of the Institute for Foreign-related Rule of Law at Sun Yat-sen University, who presented the latest research findings on popular legal topics to the attendees. Additionally, the forum invited seven experienced lawyers to share practical insights in practice areas such as AI, asset securitization, criminal defense practice, company law, enterprises' overseas expansion, client services, and litigation perspectives. The event attracted nearly 400 attendees, with over ten thousand viewers online across multiple platforms.
